Our second Bid Day installation for @olemisskd is officially in the books, and let me just say that it has been crazy! So crazy that it has taken me two days to be able to post the recap info…..but here it is!

💚Over 6 months of planning
💚11,000+ balloons on the house alone 😳
💚Another 2,400+ balloons at @thelyricoxford
💚900 individual streamers for the ceiling fringe
💚SEVEN amazing team members
💚Over 140 hours of prep work
💚14 hours of installation on the house
💚12 hours of total installation at The Lyric
💚A few hiccups along the way (machinery is NOT my thing)
💚Design pivots in the final hours
💚One epic result that makes me smile every time I see it

Y’all I would be lying if I said this job didn’t give me a few gray hairs in the last couple of months. The checkerboard columns alone were made from 4,800 individually sized balloons and I may have been praying to the very last minute that they would work out, but it all turned out better than I could have imagined! All of the hard work and late nights are really so worth it when you see the excitement of the girls as they walk up to the house!

Thankful for an amazing team who got the work done and never complained - shout out to @kateswallace @amytcole712 @bbs__balloons @maciecgossett @kendallltoddd @_shelbycole_ - literally could not have done it without them! And huge thanks to @olemisskd for trusting us to create something fun and exciting and for @libbymoak @maddiebeckemeyer and @rachcreatesdesigns for rolling with all our crazy ideas! Already dreaming of next year and thinking of ways to make it even bigger!
